| Instructor Profile: | Hazel has been studying tai chi for 17 years and is passionate about Tai Chi for Arthritis, as it has helped her manage her own severe arthritis so well that she is entirely medication free. She is an instructor in Tai Chi for Arthritis, Diabetes, Energy and Kidz, and Dr Lam’s Authorised Agent in New Zealand. Hazel is the Chair of the Tai Chi for Health Community NZ, and is also a member of the New Zealand National Tai Chi Chuan Association Committee and the Editor of their quarterly newsletter. She circulates her own independent e-mail newsletter, promoting Dr Lam’s products and New Zealand tai chi events/ training. Hazel has attended several of Dr Lam’s New Zealand workshops, the Sydney One Week Workshop in 2008 and Dr Lam's 2013 Chen 36 Workshop in Zhuhai, China. She hosted a Depth workshop in 2006, and has assisted at TCD, TCK, TCO, TCE and Depth workshops. Hazel liaises with Arthritis New Zealand to assist their clients in finding suitable classes and often speaks at local seminars. |

| Messages: | Nine of my students (four of whom are over 65) are now certified TCA Instructors, two are also qualified in Tai Chi for Energy. It is a huge pleasure to see them developing their confidence and teaching their own classes. | |
| Recent News: | I really enjoyed meeting old friends and making new ones at Dr Lam's TCE and Depth workshops in Palmerston North in August 12, which were hosted by Master Trainer Chris Hattle. I also enjoyed meeting TCHC NZ members at our second AGM during the workshops. | |
